Create a legacy in your will
One of the most effective and easiest ways to create your conservation legacy is by leaving a gift (a “bequest”) in your will for your favourite environmental or conservation group.
A bequest can take a number of forms. For example, it might be a lump sum of money, a gift of securities, a gift of real estate or personal property, or a specific portion of your estate.
Why make a will?
Making a bequest allows you to create a personal legacy of a better future for your community.
It only costs a small amount for a notary or lawyer to prepare a proper will. And having a will gives you peace of mind that everything is looked after; having no will creates an unnecessary extra burden and expense for those left behind.
