Greenspace for All Project

Providing greenspace in urban and periurban areas has been shown to boost ecosystem resilience and the overall well-being of community members. SCBC seeks to work with partners in environmental stewardship, social justice, community health, and other sectors to provide equitable access to greenspace for diverse communities of Vancouver Island so that everyone benefits from the ecosystem services that they provide, such as temperature regulation, flood mitigation, air purification, natural beauty, and recreation.
