This guide is intended for anyone wanting to do work or make changes in and about a stream. It was developed to help applicants understand the Regulation under British Columbia’s Water Act that sets standards for work around water. The Regulation will help to ensure the highest level of protection for our water resources while reducing the need to obtain a formal approval or a licence.
