The Stewardship Centre for BC is rolling up its sleeves to help plan a full-day Stewardship Roundtable for next August, in collaboration with the International Ornithological Congress, Vancouver Bird Festival and multiple partners.

“The Stewardship Centre made a major contribution to the national [Keep Cats Safe and Save Bird Lives] campaign by developing resources for municipalities on recommended policies and bylaws.

The Stewardship Centre for BC is pleased to share it has won Nature Canada’s 2017 Conservation Partner Award. The award recognizes the conservation efforts of a Nature Canada partner organization whose work has significantly contributed to the cause of conservation in Canada.

We’ve updated our very popular “Happy Cat” brochure. Some of the changes include new information on how free-roaming cats are impacting bats. There are also more do’s and don’ts for responsible owners,
