Cats and Birds Collaborative Workshop 2020
On February 24, 2020, we hosted our first Cats and Birds Collaborative workshop in Vancouver.
We would like to thank our workshop leaders Karen Kraus and Bob Sallinger who came up from Portland, Oregon and guest speakers for providing us with valuable advice, research and facilitating a conversation about this issue.
We are now one step closer to finding common ground between animal welfare organizations, conservation groups, municipalities and research scientists in addressing cat predation of wildlife and reducing the number of roaming cats in BC. Only through collaboration and partnership, we can make British Columbia a safer place for Cats and Birds.
