The “Green Bylaws in Action on Vancouver Island” lunch-hour learning webinar took place on February 22, 2024.
If you’re familiar with the Green Bylaws Toolkit for Conserving Sensitive Ecosystems and Green Infrastructure, you may have wondered how other communities have gone about planning for and implementing their green projects, policies, and bylaws. We invite you to join BC planners and local governments to hear about the successes and challenges of implementing ecologically sustainable land-use practices on Vancouver Island.
The “Green Bylaws in Action on Vancouver Island” webinar will feature three communities’ experiences planning and implementing green practices, projects, policies, and bylaws on Vancouver Island. Hosted by the Stewardship Centre for BC and facilitated by Ione Smith of Upland Consulting, it promises to be an hour well-spent learning about the successes and challenges experienced by others in navigating green initiatives from start to finish.
