Green Shores | Programs

Green Shores offers three main programs to meet the needs of homeowners, commercial developers and local government. Please click on the links below to learn more about each program. Green Shores for Shoreline Development (GSSD): Applies to residential and commercial marine waterfront development projects as well as to infrastructure development (such as public walkways) and shore protection works in public spaces (parks and recreational areas).

Green Shores for Homes (GSH): Applies to new development, and renovations and modifications of existing structures. It is for both freshwater and marine shorelines.

Local Government Working Group: We offer support to local governments to facilitate the implementation of Green Shores.
