Green Shores has a new logo!
Stewardship Centre for British Columbia is excited to release a new logo for its Green Shores program. Green Shores program originated in 2010 and over the past 12 years, Green Shores immensely expanded and evolved. So did the Green Shores’ scope, impact, collaborations and resources. And even though the original logos has served us well, it was time for a new face of the program.
In 2021, the Stewardship Centre’s Communications Committee began working on a new version of the Green Shores logo. Thanks to the Gio Creative team from Nanaimo for bringing a new vision of Green Shores to life! The new logo represents the connection between land and water and soft nature-based approaches to shoreline management supported by the Green Shores principles. Natural shoreline solutions employed by Green Shores don’t only provide aesthetic values and benefits to human well-being but also provide habitat for plants and animals, along with shoreline protection and resiliency against Climate Change.
