The BC provincial government and federal government periodically updates the legislation and regulations found in the Green Bylaws Toolkit document. Note that some references and links may not be current and should not be relied on.

In the Green Bylaws Toolkit, the authors provide a link for access to current legislation. This site is no longer active (QP Legaleze). An alternate is the BC Laws page or the Canadian Legal institute. These sites do not require registration and there is no fee to access information. CanLii will also provide you with associated regulations for provincial or federal statutes and provides a viewer to access changes (amendments).

Current legislation is also often available at public libraries, government agent offices, and law libraries.

The list of resources available in the document is extensive and so we have not attempted to recreate it on this site. It is important to note that some of the resources listed in the document may direct you to a broken link. If this happens, we encourage you to search for the document or updated policy using an online search engine or the local government website for the resource you seek.
